​As part of our ongoing commitment to promoting medical awareness and advancing specialized clinical knowledge, a valuable scientific lecture was held on Monday, July 27, 2026, at Kamal Al-Samarrai Hospital for Fertility and IVF.
​The lecture was titled:
​"Hypothyroidism in Pregnancy"
​It was presented by Dr. Osama Abbas Al-Mousawi, Consultant Endocrinologist and Head of the Diabetes and Endocrinology Department at the National Diabetes Center.
​The session highlighted the critical importance of early diagnosis and precise monitoring of thyroid function during pregnancy, underscoring its direct impact on maternal health and fetal well-being, along with presenting the latest global management protocols.
