أقامت الجمعية العراقية للسكري والغدد الصم (IDEA) بالتعاون مع شركة Boehringer Ingelheim العالمية ندوة علمية مميزة ومخصصة لمناقشة أحدث المستجدات الطبية في إدارة مرض السكري لعام 2026، مع التركيز على المتلازمة القلبية الكلوية الأيضية (CKM Syndrome). ​شهدت الندوة حضوراً متميزاً من الأطباء والاختصاصيين، وتضمنت محاضرة قيمة ألقاها الأستاذ الدكتور محمود شاكر الزيدي (Dr. Mahmood Shakir AlZaidy)

In collaboration with the global pharmaceutical company Boehringer Ingelheim, the Iraqi Diabetes and Endocrinology Association (IDEA) hosted a distinguished scientific seminar dedicated to discussing the latest medical updates in diabetes management for 2026, with a special focus on Cardiovascular-Kidney-Metabolic (CKM) Syndrome.
​The seminar witnessed an outstanding attendance of esteemed physicians and specialists. It featured a valuable lecture delivered by Professor Dr. Mahmood Shakir AlZaidy, titled:
​"Diabetes Management 2026: Focus on CKM Syndrome"
​The event focused on highlighting the intricate therapeutic interconnectedness between diabetes, heart disease, and kidney disease. It also reviewed the latest globally approved treatment protocols aimed at enhancing patients' quality of life and minimizing complications. Furthermore, the seminar included interactive clinical case studies presented alongside the attendees.
